Super strong lineup with both 19th Century Hall Of Fame Legends - Anson and Kelly along with Hall of Fame Pitcher John Clarkson (who pitched a mere 623 innings in 1885). The team also had a young Billy Sunday who had a decent career as an outfielder with Chicago and Pittsburgh but made his mark on society as an early Evangelist in the vein of Billy Graham. The professionally framed and matted cut out is from the October 17th, 1885 Harper's Weekly with the players captioned. The framed display measures 9" by 13" and is ready to be added to a man cave. |
