| Description: | This auction is for a vintage 1888 Old Judge Cabinet N173 of the Cubs Captain and HOF Superstar - Cap Anson. This tough 19th Century Cabinet measures full size with the gold detailing around the perimeter and it is in great condition with an dark bold image displaying great overall eye appeal and strong contrast along with a relatively clean mount front and back free of writing, and wrinkles or creases. It has an EX appearance on the front and a slightly discolored and stained back that would bring the overall grade to VG or better. However, the cabinet has been professionally restored including photo surface and mount cleanup along with a restored pin hole and has been authenticated by Sportscard Guaranty. |
