| Description: | This auction is for a 1915 American Caramel E106 vintage caramel baseball card of the Chicago Cubs Star Second Baseman - Heinie Zimmerman. Heinie was a strong hitter who during his best season in 1912 led the league in hits, doubles, homers and batting average at .372. The E106 caramel issue is tough and harder to find than the E90-1 issue that shares the image. This card of Heinie is in very nice condition with outstanding color and registration against a gorgeous red background, no creases and a clean back. It does have slightly rounded / frayed corners and some light stains and discoloration along the upper left edge. It has been professionally graded by Sportscard Guaranty an SGC 40 or VERY GOOD 3. |
