| Description: | This auction is for a 1909-11 American Caramel E90-1 vintage caramel baseball card of the New York Highlanders Hall of Fame Outfielder - Wee Willie Keeler. Willie was a great hitter ranked 5th today with over 2500 singles and his career .341 average puts him 14th on the All-Time list. This tough caramel issue of Willie is his most difficult Red Portrait Variation and it is in very nice collectible condition being well centered with outstanding color and eye appeal, no creases and a clean back. It presents VG/EX due to light corner and back wear but has been trimmed minimally on the top and bottom borders. It has been authenticated by Professional Sports Authenticator but not given a numeric grade to the trimming. |
