| Description: | This auction is for a bound folio secured by two staples at the spine of six 1898 National Coppler Plate ballplayers including - Hall Of Famer Hugh Duffy (Boston Beaneaters), John OConnor (Cleveland Spiders), Jerry Nops (Baltimore Orioles), W. B. Mercer (Washington Senators), William [Brickyard] Kennedy (Brooklyn Bridegrooms), and Lave Cross (St. Louis Browns). The premiums measure 9-1/2 inches by 12-1/2 inches and are slightly larger than their offspring - M101-1 Sporting News supplements. We have had individual premiums before but this manufactured album definitely is rare. The Duffy page has a tear that has been taped but overall the item has been well preserved in the GOOD to VG range. |
