| Description: | This auction is for an 1896 Providence Grays Team Cabinet. The Cabinet is in very nice condition with an EX or better front and some light surface damage on the back probably from scrapbook removal. The Grays team were a Major League team in the 1880s but a minor league team from the Eastern League when this photo was taken. The team had 13 players who played at some time in the majors with the following players identifiable: Harry Lyons, Ted Lewis, Charley Bassett, Jim Canavan, Dan Coogan, Cannonball Crane, Cozy Dolan, Bill Friel, George Hodson and Joe Knight. |
