| Description: | This auction is for an 1897 Original Cabinet Photo of the Northern baseball team. This cabinet was taken by Clara R. Paeszeger of Ada, OH. The cabinet won first prize from the Photographers Association of Ohio. The team is probably the Ohio Northern University which was founded in 1871 and is located also in Ada, OH. The cabinet photo is in very nice condition being well preserved with a bold clear image with strong contrast. The mount has some stock missing in the upper right corner and some paper loss on the front and back causing the technical grade of POOR. |
