| Description: | This auction is for a pair of vintage pre-war baseball cards of the Hall Of Fame Legend - Rogers Hornsby spanning both ends of his career. The first card of Roger is his 1921 Exhibits and it is in very nice condition being well centered and free of creases with a bold clear image of him with the Cardinals. It does have a ding in the bottom left corner and the back has light glue residue from scrapbook removal and the card has been professionally graded by Sportscard Guaranty an SGC 40 or VG 3. The second card of Rogers is his 1936 Goudey Fine Pen R313 showing him as a Player / Manager with Browns. The card does have slightly rounded / dinged corners and a horiztonal crease across the middle. It has been graded an SGC 30 or GOOD 2 |
