| Description: | This auction is for a 1889 Goodwin Round Album A35 issue picturing the St. Louis Browns Hall Of Famer Charles Comiskey. Comiskey would later go on to be more famous as the owner of the Chicago White Sox especially during the Black Sox scandal. This round 8 1/4 inch diameter lithograph premium has nice eye appeal and was issued as an album with a front a back cover and 10 player pages tied together through the hole on the left edge. The back is one of the earliest collectibles to show stats of the players. The premium has quite a bit of wear including a trimmed edge along the left side, some stains on his face and some light wrinkles and creases. It technically grades POOR with far superior eye appeal. |
