| Description: | This auction is for a 1928 R315 of the Yankees Hall Of Fame Legend - Babe Ruth. This high grade card of Babe is in great condition being well centered and free of creases with light corner touches. The card is also his RARER thicker yellow cardboard stock instead of the more common thin black white issue. NOTE ON YELLOW STOCK RARITY: A few years ago, when I had another Yellow Stock Ruth at a National Convention, a gentlemen came up to me who had researched over 1000 R315 cards and determined that the yellow thicker stock variation was at least 30 to 1 in scarcity compared to the thin stock black and white issue. |
